Temecula Valley scored three runs in the second and never trailed again, scoring a run in the third, fourth and fifth. Iwasaki settled down and gave up only one more run in the third. The Golden Bears were helped along by five big Wolfpack errors and a wild pitch that scored David Maldonado from third in the fourth inning.
