CIF Volleyball Playoffs: Great Oak Sweeps Dana Hills

The Wolfpack Easily Move on to Round 2 of the CIF SS Division 1AA Playoffs 

Dana Hills came into the Wolf’s Den Tuesday night to play their final game of the season as the Wolfpack devoured the Dolphins 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20 in the first round of the CIF SS 1AA Playoffs. Great Oak will move on to play JSerra tomorrow evening.
The Wolfpack started sluggish but by the second game were in total control of the match. Cindy Marina guided the Wolfpack attack and she put up 36 assists and had several key well placed dumps to keep Dana Hills off balance. She also registered 7 kills.
Bailee Huizenga had 16 kills while Amy Underdown had 9. Mya Marshall had 4 kills for the Wolfpack. Brynn Sherbert has two aces. Defensively, Sam Rice had 21 digs and Rachel Daily 12.
“Cindy marina had a great game for us” said Great Oak Coach Mark Motluck. “We played a great game at the net and we served well. Defensively we did a job. I’m looking forward to round two of the playoffs”. 

The Wolfpack will traveling to San Juan Capistrano to play JSerra Catholic Thursday . The Lions played a close, tough 5 set game against Bishop Montgomery in the first round. They won 27-25, 25-27, 19-25, 25-17 and 15-8.
