HS Tennis: Nighthawks and Golden Bears Advance to Round 2 of the CIF SS Playoffs

Murrieta Valley Remains Undefeated this Season 

In the first round of the CIF Division-2 Girls Tennis Playoffs Murrieta Valley defeated the Rams from Cate High School in Carpinteria. The second-seeded Nighthawks won easily with a 12-6 score. It was Murrieta Valley’s 20thconsecutive victory of the 2014 season.
The Southwestern League Champions will travel to Simi Valley on Friday to take on the Pioneers in round two of the playoffs. Simi Valley defeated San Luis Obispo 11-7 in the first round. 

Temecula Valley also advances to round two of the CIF SS Playoffs. The Golden Bears traveled to West Covina where they dominated South Hills. Temecula Valley won 13-5 and will be home to play Beverly Hills High Friday in round two. Games begin at 2pm.
