Linfield Christian Are Ambassador League Champions

The Lions Devour the Knights 35-14

Linfield Christian rose to the occasion Friday night as the Lions hammered Ontario Christian 35-14 as the Lions claimed the Ambassador League Football Championship. The Lions beat the Knights with Offensive and Defensive fireworks throughout the game.
Linfield Christian moves to 3-1 in League with the victory and into a tie with Arrowhead Christian for a share of for 1st place. The Lions beat Arrowhead last week, giving them the tiebreaker and the League Championship. Ontario moves to 2-3 in the Ambassador League.
Linfield running back Zac Archer carried the ball 17 times for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. Quarterback Lorenzo Burns ran the ball 6 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. He also took a Knight punt and returned it 52 yards into the Ontario Christian end zone for a touchdown.
On defense, the Lions were led by their linebacker corps. Greg Holt had 14 tackles and an interception. Outside linebacker Brian Agapito had a pick six with his 65 yard interception and touchdown. Agapito also had 11 tackles in the game. Taylor Lau had 8 tackles against the Knights..
Ontario Christian’s running back Blake Biby ran for 79 yards and one touchdown while quarterback Christian Reyes ran for 105 yards
