Wilson aggressively revamped his over-worked coaching staff with key additions with experience, fresh ideas and a winning attitude. The results have been immediate as the team has responded well and a positive energy fills training camp.

'I’m really excited for my senior season” said All Southwestern League running back Quincy Wimbish. “We have an all the new coaching staff and they are keeping everyone on the team focused and instilling that winning mentality in all of us. I feel this season is going to be the year we shock the league. Our offensive line is looking really solid this year as well. Can't wait till August 28th”!

Coach Wilson says that his starting quarterback is a freshman as they head into the season. “Hank Brockmier is a very talented kid” said Wilson. Not much experience but Coach Duffy is working with him. I am confident that he can get it done.”

The freshman has three talented receivers to throw to. Senior Chase Collins, junior Maurice Bell and sophomore Markis Spiker are ranked as the top three receivers as the season begins.

“I think our defense is going to be very strong this year and it will be tough for any team to put up points against us” said Julio Robles, the Nighthawk Defensive captain.“The leaders on the defense this year are Jaylen Moore, Alex Schweiser, Mazin Khalil, Joe Montoya and myself. Our goal for this season is just like last year. Win the Southwestern league."

"We have had to overcome emotional obstacles and a loss in the Nighgthawk family already this year, but I am confident that because our team is so close and supportive of each other, nothing can beat us down”.

“I am looking forward to coaching these boys this season" said Coach Wilson. "They have all come through a lot of change over the past couple years, and the team has come closer together as a family. We are ready”.
