The Wolfpack was 10-3 last season and went all the way to the West Valley Division Semifinal game in the CIF SS Playoffs. The Pack lost to Mission Viejo 41-36 and the Diablos went on to defeat Vista Murrieta in the Championship game.

It was the best season in Great Oak High School history and the Wolfpack is loaded with talent and looking to build on last season’s success.

. “This is a special group of guys” said Robinson. “They bring it every game. Seth has been injured this summer and we are hoping to work him into the lineup as soon as we can. Jake is a very special player, a real leader on the team. Boehn is a beast”.

Senior running back Demetric Felton will be running behind a revamped offensive line this season. “We have Byrson Cain at offensive tackle and Blake Garrison moving to the ‘O’line to play center. They are the cornerstone of our offensive line, and Demetric is an amazing offensive weapon”.

Felton ran for 1277 yards last year, caught 26 passes for 560 yards and scored 22 touchdowns.

The starting quarterback spot was to be determined in last week’s scrimmage but Coach Robinson is still weighing his options as to who will be behind center in the season opener. The battle continues between sophomore McGwire Bustamante and senior Nick Greenaway.

A lot of questions.  We need to face the challenges of being young early in the season and work towards another successful season”.

The Wolfpack faces off against powerful Heritage at home this Friday night. The Patriots are the perennial Sunbelt League Champions and made it into the CIF SS Inland Division semi-final game. They were 12-1 last year.
