At 9:20am Monday morning Firefighters were dispatched to the 5200 block of Van Buren Blvd in response to a Bee Attack at a construction site.
Bees Swarmed and attacked three employees of Perris-based JDI Electrical Solutions when they knocked over a hive hidden in an underground irrigation box. One of the electricians suffered a severe allergic reaction and was rushed to Parkview Hospital and died at the hospital.
The other two workers were treated for their injures, one described as moderate and the third man’s injuries were deemed as minor.
A Corona based vector company was called to remove the hive and bees.
