Ayala fought back and answered with two field goals to make it 7-6 with just under 10 minutes to play in the second quarter.
Less than a minute later, Felton scored on another run to put the Pack ahead 14-6, before the Bulldogs scored once again to make it 14-12 at the half.
The Bulldogs would score not score again against Great Oak. The Wolfpack defense led by Jake Schwarzer, Daniel Morales and Seth Knowlton completely shut down the Ayala offense in the second half.
The Wolfpack’s Felton looked to have scored his third touchdown of the game in the third quarter on another run. The play was called back on a holding penalty and Great Oak had to settle for a field goal to go up 17-12. Felton then threw a halfback option pass to Connor Strode for the Wolfpack’s final score.

“I was really pleased with our defensive performance” said Great oak Head Coach Robbie Robinson. “Offensively, we missed a couple opportunities early in the game. Overall, we continue to improve. That's the most important thing”.
The Wolfpack will be home to play Corona next Friday. The Panthers are having a great season and are undefeated with a record of 4-0. Corona is coming off a huge 54-0 victory over La Sierra.
