It was just “Bronco Football as usual” as the game began. Vista Murrieta’s offense scored four touchdowns in the first 13 minutes. Junior Quarterback Karson Greeley hit Khalil Shakir with a 33 yard touchdown pass.
The O Line dominated the line of scrimmage opening holes for Cole Dubots. The speedy running back scored on an 18 yard run. He was followed by Kyle Williams who added a 56-yard punt return, and the Sharks were stunned. Dubots scored again on a 52 yard blast to put the Broncos up 27-0.

Santiago quarterback Jacob Hennie got the Sharks offense back into the game. Hennie started to run against the mighty Bronco defense. He found a seam and sprinted 57 yards into the end zone for their first score. He then led the Sharks downfield and hit Alex Benter a 8-yard touchdown pass after the Broncos had scores on QB Greeley’s TD run.
Henne then continued to run against Vista Murrieta. He scored Santiago’s third TD of the second quarter on the last play of the half. The Sharks trailed the Broncos 34-21 as they went into the locker rooms.
Bronco quarterback Karson Greeley completed 16 of his 21 passes for 239 yards and 2-touchdowns. The junior’s second TD was to Khalil Shakir who took it 19-yards for the score late in the third. Vista Murrieta .
Santiago would score 12 more points against one of the top defenses in the Southern Section to end up losing 55-33.
They gained over 500 offensive yards against the Broncos and exposed weaknesses that can be exploited.

The Vista Murrieta offense was in high gear again this week and was led by the O Line. Dubots ended up gaining with 149 yards and scored three touchdowns. Kyle Williams returned two punts for touchdowns.
The Broncos travel to Lakewood to face the Lancers who are 0-3 so far this season. Santiago is off to Victorville searching for their first win of the year against Silverado .
