The Trojans rolled into Arizona last weekend and took care of business as USC beat the Sun Devils 42-14 and redeemed themselves from the defeat to Stanford the week before. With help from number 21 Vista Murrieta alumni Su'a Cravens, the Trojan defense shut down ASU.
It was about to become a game as ASU had the ball on the 1-yard line with 38 seconds in the half and threatened to score to make it 21-7. Instead, Cravens and the USC defense forces a fumble and the ball was scooped up by Chris Hawkins who scampered 96 yards for the TD.
On the ensuing kickoff, ASU fumbled again and USC recovered. Three plays later the Trojans scored again to make it 35-0 at the half. ASU never recovered and USC goes onto the victory.
