Temecula Valley-Murrieta Mesa
The Golden Bears overcame tough resistance from the Rams as Temecula Valley took the first set 26-24. Murrieta Mesa continued to play hard hitting volleyball but fell 25-20 and then 25-17 in the final set.

Peyton McBride led the Golden Bears with 11 kills. Two freshemen excelled for Temecula Valley as Jasmine West had 20 digs and setter Jordyn Amoy finished with 34 assists.
Mesa freshman Kali Uhl led the Ram attack with 14 kills and 21 digs. Leimomi Arscott scored 11 kills in the contest.
Great Oak-Chaparral
The Pumas lost their second heartbreaker of the season Thursday. Chaparral put up a great fight but fell to the defending Southwestern League Champions in straight sets 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

Amy Underdown led Great Oak with 11 kills and Bailee Huizenga had 11. . Samantha Rice had 18 digs and Cindy Marina finished with 36 assists for the Wolfpack.
Vista Murrieta-Murrieta Valley
The Broncos and Nighthawks played another tough three set match in the Southwestern league Tuesday/ Vista Murrieta won 27-25, 25-20, 25-17.
Lexi Hadrych had 11 kills and 9.Digs for the Broncos.
The Wolfpack and Golden Bears Tied for First Place in the Southwestern League with 2-0 Records
Southwestern League Girls Volleyball play is underway and, as expected, the Wolfpack is cruising along. The Golden Bears are also undefeated after two games, Murrieta Valley and Vista Murrieta are both 1-1. Murrieta Mesa and Chaparral are looking for their first victory.
