Corona: Man Arrested for Distributing Child Pornography over the Internet




A 68 year old Corona man was arrested last week when members of a task force served a search warrant as part of an online child exploitation investigation.
James Thomas Lane, DOB: 1-24-51, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, when the Riverside County Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement/Internet Crimes Against Children (SAFE/ICAC) task force served the warrant at his home.


During the task force’s investigation that resulted in the warrant, Lane is alleged to have distributed child pornography media to undercover investigators on several occasions. Investigators believe that James had been acquiring and exchanging illicit images and videos depicting child sexual exploitation for several years.

Lane was arrested on suspicion of distributing child pornography and possessing child pornography.

He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
