San Jacinto: Residential Fire Leads to Seizure of Over 300 Plants & 7 Weapons at Illegal Marijuana Grow
On
October 26, 2019, about 4:30 PM, deputies from the San Jacinto
Sheriff’s Station responded to the 800 block of Buick Avenue, San
Jacinto, to assist Riverside County Fire with a residential fire
investigation.
Deputies
discovered the cause of the fire was a result of a by-passed
electrical meter for an indoor marijuana grow. No occupants were
located, and a warrant was authored for the residence.
Deputies
located 314 marijuana plants inside the residence, 5 high-powered
semi-automatic rifles and 2 semi-automatic handguns. All contraband
located on the property was confiscated. Two possible suspects have
been identified, but no arrests have been made at this time. The
investigation is ongoing.
